$2 billion neighborhood
The Innovation Queens project includes 1,400 affordable units, 200,000 square feet for retail and 250,000 square feet of office space for creative industries to Revitalize the Astoria Neighborhood, in New York City.
Team task
QNS is a multi-functional huge neighborhood which will be built in a couple of years. The developer required a catchy and impressive visual content to present the project on the next stages of development. It was very important for the client that images showed a rich variety of different spaces, lifestyle, atmosphere and social value. And of course to save New-York vibrancy and city mood in different seasons of the year.
Solutions
The VERO team took a focus on a diversity of renderings. Aerial view visualization and bright exterior renders aim to show the scale of the project in the context of the city. On the other hand, the crowdy interior renders in different seasons of the year should help to create a convincing storytelling with numerous cultural and social details in it.
The idea was to create storytelling not only through people's stories but also by the cinematographic autumn or winter mood of the NY city, yellow taxi, street musicians.

All seasons of the year
All seasons of the year
This is not typical for all projects to create renderings in different seasons of the year. But in this case you can find all of them! And there is not only an aesthetic reason but rational as well. As the project plays a huge role for the Queens district VERO team decided to show the project during the year with all it can offer to their future residents. One more untypical feature of this render set is a quantity of aerial view images. Bird's-eye view images in different light and angles help to present such a huge project in the city context, to realize its location and to imagine it as a real part of the city.
